Hiya, thanks for finding our website and a massive congratulations on your engagement. I’d love to help you with your wedding/elopement plans!
Queenstown is my hometown, my folks moved here when I was 1 to take over a restaurant. I grew up in diverse tourism and I love hosting people and seeing them discover and fall in love with the place. I realise I am extraordinarily lucky to have had Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains as my childhood playground to shape who I am today.
I have been a Registered Nurse for 10 years at the end of 2024! Working in ED, ICU, GP as well as up Remarkables Ski Field here in Queenstown. When I work with people’s emotions, supporting them in high or low times makes me feel alive and like I am doing something good. Nursing is hard and has changed a lot, so I became a celebrant as a fun part-time job and then I thought, this is rad how about I start an elopement company. The world is changing and there are a zillion ways in which I believe eloping is the way to go, and probably what I would do if I got engaged!
I work as a nurse in the film industry, working on sets usually up in Wellington, so I direct remotely. I have brought in Morgan in 2024, to be the lady on the ground. She will be the face you see on the day, coordinating, and having pre-planned with me, and will take over my role as Adventure Weddings’ primary celebrant!
I like to keep things relaxed on the day, so you’re not stressed out and your memories are only of joy and love. The experience is luxury, and it is an extraordinary dream come true to get married in Queenstown!

Hi, I’m Morgan.
I was brought up in the countryside in Northern England, UK. I thrive when I’m adventuring outdoors whilst soaking up the sunshine and pretty views. My love for adventuring led me to magical Queenstown over 6 years ago; which I am now lucky enough to call my special home.
I have always had a strong pull towards the Wedding Industry. When my beautiful friend Lana came to me personally to address my unique energy and the idea of becoming a celebrant, everything in my heart and soul shouted ‘Yes!!’.
I LOVE Love. I love hearing the heartwarming stories of two special souls finding each other in this lifetime. I love celebrating love and I love sharing love. I would be truly honoured to be a part of your important day.
As a Coordinator and (future) Celebrant, I will be responsible for making sure every detail of your day is planned and organised to your needs. It is important to me that you both feel relaxed and comfortable. All you have to do on the day is be present and soak up each magical moment that you will cherish in your hearts forever.
I have an intuitive understanding of couples which means I will capture your stories in a truly genuine and heartfelt way. Working closely with you, I can create a beautifully bespoke ceremony that you will both remember for a lifetime.

Hi I’m Melissa, and I freeeaking love my job, it’s my passion.
I am very lucky to call Queenstown home, originally from the UK I fell in love with this town and decided to make a life here. And when I’m not capturing other people’s best moments, you’ll find me in the mountains with my partner Gregory, and our baby dog Finnegan. We’re all about the outdoors, spending our time hiking, fishing, camping, and discovering new spots together. This love for adventure and nature spills over into my photography, bringing a vibrant, laid-back vibe to my work.

I’m Jonny James or JJ.
I’ve lived in beautiful Queenstown for over 12 years, having fallen in love with the alpine lifestyle and the raw beauty of the mountains and valleys.
I’ve worked in the wedding industry since I was a teenager, working in a beautiful English medieval castle. I’ve had the opportunity to work with and for many great photographers, directors, stylists, brands, and agencies cultivating my style and approach to my creative work. Crafting beautiful cinematic images in this stunning part of the world is an approach that I've cultivated.
Authenticity, Trust, and Intimacy are my values.
I love spending one-on-one time with my couples to create images that focus on raw, natural, beauty.

Queenstown has been my home since 2020, and I feel incredibly fortunate to live in such a stunning place. Here, I've been able to combine my passion for bridal hair and makeup with the beautiful backdrop of adventure weddings.
I have over 18 years of experience as a hair and makeup artist. I completed my training at The Film and Television Academy of Makeup in 1998. I went on to start my career and continued learning and getting valuable hands-on experience with iconic brands such as Clinique, Chanel, and Yves Saint Laurent.
I love nothing more than being part of such a special moment in a bride's life. Helping you feel confident, radiant, and beautiful on your wedding day. Whether it's a mountaintop ceremony or a lakeside elopement, I'm here to ensure you look stunning and feel amazing.
