Nick + Adie

Wow, these two requested I marry them at 1am during a DJ set, at a burner event on Vancouver Island, Otherworld 2026.

They were part of Badger's camp, and their friend who was DJ'ing started hinting at a wedding during his set, talking over the music about love being in the air and integrating wedding bells into his set. There was a huge crowd, I definitely had to adapt my style of writing. I was more interactive, asking the crowd for Ohhhs, and Aahhh's and other participating sound effects. And of course, plenty of applause.

They were dressed up with custom stick man light outfits that their friends made. Adie is in a wheelchair but was able to stand for their newlywed kiss. They told me the ceremony was perfect.

They celebrated the whole weekend with a huge group of friends, I kept running into them as well and was told they couldn't be happier.
